We are in San Diego for the weekend. We left Wednesday night after work. We drove through the night with no problems. We got in a little bit of trouble once the sun came up. A truck lost a piece from its under side and it bounced up a hit our tire and blew it out. Not good. It hit 2 other cars and gave them flat tires too. He put the spare on and drove to Victorville to buy a new one. Smooth sailing after that. We went straight to La Jolla and hit the beach. The water felt so good after being in the car for so long. Then we took a nap on the beach. We ate dinner at Don Carlos, our favorite burrito spot. Yummmy! We spent the night at Riley and Jessica's and now we are off the surf! Can't wait. I post some pics when I get home. We wish you were all here with us!
Matt sent his signed contract to Detroit today. Looks like he will be leaving the end of September. Here we go again.
