Too good not to post. More to come when I get a sec.
I have been driving for nearly?50 years... I would think I should have noticed the little secret on my dashboard that was staring me in the face the whole time...I didn't...and I bet you didn't either...
Have you ever rented or borrowed a car and when arriving at the gas station wondered...mmm, which side is the gas filler cap?
My normal solution was to stick my head out the window, strain my neck and look, try to see in the side mirrors or even get out of the car!
Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to share with you my little secret so you will no longer look like Ace Ventura on your way to the gas station or put your neck at risk of discomfort or injury.
If you look at your gas gauge, you will see a small icon of a gas pump?
The handle of the gas pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the gas pump?
If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left? If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right. It is that simple!
Don't feel dumb, just go out and share the world's best kept auto secret with your friends.?

Who knew? I could have used that info last night filling up my bro's car. :) Miss you, we had a fun cousin dinner tonight. :)
After reading this I checked my minivan this morning to see if it was correct HOWEVER on my Nissan it has the little picture of the gas pump with the handle on the right with an arrow pointing to the left.....my fill-up is on the left but handle on the right so I guess maybe it's just true if there's no arrow! I'll check our car today too!
I just remember Ze pumping all the time i was preggo because i hated the smell of gas and he was on the passenger side of the car. Seriously thats how I remember on our car, but i will have to check this theory out in other cars and ps where did you learn this secret?

I had to come back and tell you I told everyone about this. Of course now that I am home, both cars at my moms house do not follow this rule. Im so sad!
